A summit written for the people the regulators now hold accountable.

Digital risk has moved from the IT agenda to the board minutes. DORA is live, NIS2 is being enforced, and the EU AI Act is arriving on a fixed timetable — each of them names the management body, not the technology team. The European Digital Governance Summit spends one day on what that means for the people in the chair.

25 NOV 2026

One day, one room

A single-track programme at the Mansion House, Dublin, so every delegate hears the same ten sessions and leaves with the same ten questions to put to their own board.

350 LEADERS

Peers, not prospects

Chairs, CEOs, non-executive directors and the risk, compliance and technology leaders who report to them — from organisations in scope of DORA and NIS2 across Ireland and Europe.

0 SALES PITCHES

Governance, not product

The programme is built around the ten risks, not around sponsors. CRI's Platinum sponsorship funds the day; it does not buy the stage.

You can delegate the work. You can no longer delegate the accountability.

The summit's premise, and the reason the invitation is addressed to you rather than to your IT department.

Who the VIP allocation is for

CRI's allocation is small and is being offered personally, which is why a member of our team has sent you this link rather than a mailshot. Passes are confirmed one by one against the criteria below.

The roles we are inviting

The management body and those who advise it
  • Chairs and board members, including non-executive and independent directors
  • Chief executives, managing directors and general managers
  • Chief risk, compliance and audit officers, and heads of legal
  • Chief information, technology and information security officers who report to the board
  • Company secretaries and heads of governance

The organisations we are inviting

Where the ten risks are already a legal matter
  • Banks, insurers, investment firms, credit unions, payment institutions and their critical ICT providers under DORA
  • Essential and important entities under NIS2 — energy, transport, health, water, digital infrastructure, manufacturing, public administration and more
  • Organisations deploying or building AI systems within scope of the EU AI Act
  • Based in Ireland, the United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Malta, Cyprus or the Netherlands — or elsewhere in Europe with a governance role for those markets

Watch the briefing before you decide

Forty minutes on what the summit is about, in the words of the person who convened it. If the questions raised here are ones your board should be able to answer, the day is for you.

Top 10 Digital Risks Every EU Board Should Own

A recorded webinar setting out the ten risk domains the summit is built around — and why half of them are about the board, not the hackers. Hosted by Paul C Dwyer, CEO of Cyber Risk International and President of the ICTTF.

Which of these ten would embarrass your board?

Every one of them is a question you could be asked by a regulator, an auditor, an acquirer or a journalist. Spend one day finding out how you would answer, alongside 350 people facing the same questions.

Questions you may have

Is the pass really complimentary?

Yes. Cyber Risk International is a Platinum Sponsor of the summit and holds an allocation of VIP passes as part of that sponsorship. We are offering them to the senior leaders we most want in the room. There is no charge, no card is requested, and you are not asked to buy anything before, during or after the day.

What is the catch?

There isn't one beyond the obvious: we would like you to know who CRI is. You will not be sold to at the summit — the event has a no-sales-pitches rule that applies to sponsors too — and you are under no obligation to speak with us afterwards. If a conversation is useful to you, we would welcome it. If not, enjoy the day.

Why do you confirm passes individually?

Because the allocation is small and the room is designed to be full of peers. Confirming each pass against the role and organisation criteria keeps it that way. It also means we can tell you honestly whether a pass is available rather than leaving you on a list.

Can I nominate a colleague or my chair instead?

Yes. If the invitation would be better used by another member of your management body or a board colleague, put their details in the form and note that they are a nominee. We will confirm with them directly.

What does the day cover, and when does it start?

The programme is built around the ten risks above, delivered as a single track over one day at the Mansion House, Dublin, on Wednesday 25 November 2026. Timings, the running order and speakers are published on the summit website at digitalgovernance.eu and sent with your confirmation.

What if I request a pass and my plans change?

Tell us as early as you can and we will release the pass to the next person on the list. There is no cancellation charge.

The form is at the top of this page. Complete it and a member of the CRI team will confirm your pass personally. Nothing to pay, now or on the day.
